The 3rd Annual Near Eastside Neighborhood (NENA) Porchfest will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The NENA Porchfest is a free community event where a variety of musical acts perform live on neighborhood porches. This event builds community and supports local music.
The 3rd annual Athens Porchfest has expanded to include:

Uptown DORA Kickoff: Porchfest on the Bricks - Saturday Evening

Bring in summer with an evening of music and dancing. Dance instructor Ashley Joy will lead a partnered swing dance tutorial for beginners starting at 6:30. Check out her other local dance classes at https://www.ashleyteaches.com/.
This will be an opportunity for partnered swing dancing. Other types of dancing are also encouraged! All music lovers are welcome to come and listen. Bring playing cards if that's your thing!
